The real life of a mobile app begins on launch day. Without a system for crash tracking, review monitoring, metadata updates and release planning, products start to drift apart.
For me, post-launch discipline has three pillars: reading the data, listening to user feedback and shipping new versions on a steady rhythm. If these areas do not talk to each other, the product exists in the store but does not grow.
Long-lasting products are not only technically sound. They are operationally consistent too.
